scipy.cluster.hierarchy.single(y)

Performs single/min/nearest linkage on the condensed distance matrix y

Parameters:

y : ndarray

The upper triangular of the distance matrix. The result of pdist is returned in this form.

Returns:

Z : ndarray

The linkage matrix.
