scipy.special.sph_jnyn

scipy.special.sph_jnyn(n, z)[source]

Compute spherical Bessel functions jn(z) and yn(z) and derivatives.

This function computes the value and first derivative of jn(z) and yn(z) for all orders up to and including n.

Parameters:

n : int

Maximum order of jn and yn to compute

z : complex

Argument at which to evaluate

Returns:

jn : ndarray

Value of j0(z), ..., jn(z)

jnp : ndarray

First derivative j0’(z), ..., jn’(z)

yn : ndarray

Value of y0(z), ..., yn(z)

ynp : ndarray

First derivative y0’(z), ..., yn’(z)
